FAQ's About the Stay At Home Order

Can I leave my house at all?

Yes. You are not confined to your home. Obviously you may travel to and from work if your place of employment is considered “essential.” If you need to get out for “essentials” at the store by all means do so. Refrain from taking your entire family. Send one person, get your essentials and get home.

Are the parks open?

Yes. The parks themselves are open. All equipment, pavilions and courts are closed. You are allowed in the parks as long as you are not in groups outside your immediate family and keeping social distancing. Get you some air and sunshine and get back to your home.

Can we mow our yard and do maintenance on our house?

Absolutely. Grass routes and Community Pride trucks are currently running.

Will you be pulling people over?

No. We are asking you to only get out of you house if it is “essential.” The more you can stay in your home the safer you and everyone around you are.

Do I have to have a paper or a badge to leave my house?

No. If you are an “essential” worker it would be advised to carry something on you just in case. But at this time is not required.

Do we have to exchange kids for child custody

This is something you really need to contact your attorney over. We cannot offer legal advice.

How long is this in effect?

This is in effect until Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at 11:59 pm. Before then this could be extended but as of now it is effective through April 27th.

Is there now a curfew?

There is no curfew in place except for the City Ordinance pertaining to minors under the age of 17.
